An crocodile glides just beneath the surface of murky water, eyes breaking the plane — watchful, present, and utterly visible despite the camouflage of its environment. Jesus declared that “nothing is hidden that will not be made manifest, nor is anything secret that will not be known,” and this ancient creature illustrates that truth with striking visual force. What lives beneath the surface of any life will eventually rise into the light, and this image invites us to consider whether we are living with that kind of honest transparency.
